The QUOR System: Every Product and Why We Built It

By Andrew Havill, Co-Founder & CEO of QUOR

QUOR was not built to be a boxer company. It was built to be a system.

Each product in the lineup exists because there was a gap. Not a marketing gap. An actual product gap. Something a man who pays attention to his health couldn't find anywhere else, at any price, built the way it should be built.

This is the system, product by product.

The QUOR Performance Boxer

What it is: A men's performance boxer built from 95% TENCEL Lyocell and 5% BPA-free elastane through the body, with a 100% TENCEL Lyocell inner pouch. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Three colorways: Blackout, Origin, and Abyss.

Why we built it: The fabric against your reproductive tissue throughout the day is one of the most consequential health inputs almost nobody optimizes. Virtually every major underwear brand uses petroleum-based synthetics that shed microplastics and trap heat against tissue designed to run cooler than the rest of the body.

We wanted a boxer built to a different standard. Cellulose as the primary fiber. Independent chemistry verification on the finished fabric. A dual-fabric construction that reserves the cleanest material for the tissue that matters most.

How it's built: The 95/5 body blend handles fit, recovery, and shape retention through a full day of movement. The inner pouch is 100% TENCEL Lyocell with no stretch fiber at all, shaped to hold the testicles in their natural thermoregulatory position rather than compressing them into a warmer microclimate. Fabric comes from Lenzing and carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.

The QUOR CryoInsert

What it is: A BPA-free cooling insert with a clean gel formula, shaped to fit inside the inner pouch of the Performance Boxer. Sold as a 2-pack.

Why we built it: Sperm production requires the scrotum to run roughly 4°F below core body temperature. Saunas, prolonged sitting, laptops on the lap, hot tubs, and tight synthetic clothing all elevate that temperature. Most men treat the reproductive cost of heat exposure as an unavoidable tradeoff for the cardiovascular benefits.

It isn't. The tissue is anatomically isolated, which means localized cooling solves the problem cleanly. You don't have to cool the whole body. You just have to keep one specific tissue in its designed thermal range while the rest of the body does what it's doing.

How it's built: TPU shell with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 certification. Clean gel formula: water, glycerol, and carboxymethyl cellulose. No BPA. No phthalates. Freeze it, slide it into the pouch, and it stays hands-free for the duration of the session.

The QUOR Vault

What it is: A carrying case for the CryoInsert with integrated gel ice panels built into both sides. Keeps the insert cold between your freezer and the sauna.

Why we built it: The CryoInsert solves scrotal cooling during a session. The Vault solves the next problem, which is getting the insert from home to the gym with its cold intact. Without it, you're playing gym-bag roulette hoping your ice pack survives the commute and a workout. Most of the time, it doesn't.

How it's built: A dedicated case with integrated gel panels sealed into both sides of the interior. Freeze the Vault overnight, load the CryoInsert inside, and the built-in panels hold the cold around the insert through your commute, through a workout, and into the sauna. Nothing to detach, nothing to lose, nothing to reassemble. One piece, engineered to keep one temperature.

The QUOR Sauna Hat

What it is: A traditional Finnish-style sauna hat made from 100% pure Merino wool.

Why we built it: Heat rises. The air at the top of a sauna is significantly hotter than the air at bench level, and the top of your head is the body part with the thinnest insulating tissue and the most direct circulatory access. A wool hat insulates the scalp and lets you stay in the sauna longer, more comfortably. Standard equipment in Nordic sauna culture for good reason.

How it's built: 100% pure Merino wool in the traditional Finnish shape. Merino is the premium standard for thermal apparel because of its fine fiber structure, which is softer against skin, better at regulating temperature, and more moisture-wicking than conventional wool. It handles heat and steam without mildewing, and it gets better with use. Iterated on by generations of Finnish sauna users. We built ours to the traditional standard, in the best wool available.

What QUOR Is Actually About

The four products above are our launch system, built around reproductive health as the anchor concern. But the products aren't the principle. They're the first application of it.

The principle is simpler and broader than any single category. QUOR exists to build the best possible product in every category we enter, where "best" means healthiest for the human using it, without sacrificing how well it performs.

This is a harder bar than most brands are willing to hold. It usually costs more. It takes longer. It requires sourcing fabrics and components that aren't sitting on a shelf ready to be ordered. It requires working with manufacturers who are willing to meet the specification rather than the ones who will ship fastest. Most brands don't do it because the math doesn't work at their price point, or because they're building for a customer who doesn't care enough to pay for the difference.

We don't make that compromise. Every product we launch has to meet the same standard. Built with the cleanest materials we can source. Engineered to perform as well or better than what it's replacing. Verified independently where verification is possible. If a product can't clear that bar, we don't ship it.

This is why the boxer uses TENCEL instead of cheaper synthetics. Why the CryoInsert uses FDA-compliant TPU and clean gel chemistry instead of a generic cold pack. Why the Vault has integrated gel panels instead of asking you to manage separate ice packs. Why the Sauna Hat is 100% pure Merino wool made to Finnish tradition instead of something cheaper that looks similar.

More products are coming. The category will expand. The principle won't.
