Why We Built QUOR
Our Story
We're a husband and wife team living and building in Los Angeles. We started QUOR because we found ourselves asking a question more men face than they talk about: how do you train for the life you want today without compromising the family you want tomorrow?
The modern wellness industry has a few blind spots. Getting married in 2025 got us thinking about fertility and the impacts the environment has on our reproductive bodies. We knew that kids were on the horizon and wanted to do everything in our power to prepare well for that season.
As a couple, we were doing everything "right": the gym, the sauna, the cold plunges, the clean eating. But the deeper we read the science, the harder it was to ignore: the men taking the best care of themselves are often the most exposed for negative fertility impacts.
The same heat that heals your muscles can harm your fertility. The synthetic fabrics men wear for sixteen hours a day were never designed with long-term hormonal health in mind. Global sperm counts have dropped more than 50% in forty years and we believe the clothing industry is a main driver in this evolution of men's health - polyester, nylon, microplastics, toxic dyes. Our Fabrics
Our main philosophy is that Tencel Lyocell is the best and healthiest fabric in the world for performance gear. Our custom blended fabrics are designed to minimize plastics, remove toxic dyes, and deliver completed products that you can trust are safe on your body without sacrificing performance. Our goal in development is the pursuit of sportswear that is free from all plastics. With current technologies, this is not entirely possible, but we are engaged with the most sophisticated fabric manufacturers in the world. Through this collaboration, we are headed in the right direction and are on a mission to make this happen.
Our First Products
Our first products are built around men's fertility. The fabric touching the most sensitive and important part of your body deserves the most attention.
We designed a pair of boxers that are great for daily wear, and just so happen to have a pouch and cooling system to assist in protecting your fertility in the sauna and high heat environments. Even just a small increase in your testes temperature for a few minutes can be detrimental to your fertility. Sperm runs on average a 74 day cycle, so any damaged sperm now, will take two and a half months to recover. This is preventable by using ice on the boys in the sauna, which is why we spent 12 months designing the perfect system to support you.
The Performance Boxer, CryoInsert, and Vault are all designed to work together to assist in preventing fertility damage that can result from exposure to high heat.
Our Purpose
In a world where people care about their health more than ever, the world is not designed to help them. Many brands today chose profits over health and safety, and that will never be us.
Prioritizing human health when it comes to fabrics is not cheap. You have to invest in high quality fabrics, more expensive non-toxic dyes, and responsible labor. This comes with a cost. Our goal is not to be the cheapest product you can buy, but our goal is to be the healthiest for your bodies, without sacrifice.
So here is our promise on price. We will charge the least we can while never sacrificing quality, because earning your trust for years matters more to us than anything we could make in a day. We are in this for the long haul, and we are really glad you are here.
